I'll dominate 'legitimate fighter' Paul - Anthony Joshua
Anthony Joshua will face Jake Paul in an eight-round match which will be broadcast in real-time on Netflix.
Briton Anthony Joshua declared he will "stamp all over" Jake Paul and "overpower" his opponent as the pair came face-to-face to promote the upcoming heavyweight fight.
Former twice world boxing king Anthony Joshua meets YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a massive mismatch - at Miami venue on December 19th.
Boxer's Attitude
"I plan to break his face and hurt his body. I aim to demonstrate my superiority," the British boxer, 35, stated.
"I will dominate him completely. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I will really want to injure him. That's my goal."
Respectful Exchange
Despite such comments, a calm Anthony Joshua and internet personality Paul - normally famous for his dramatics - exchanged pleasantries and maintained decorum with each other.
Paul rather criticized ex Joshua rival Francis Ngannou and described him as "ridiculous" after the Cameroonian turned down a bout proposal.
Targeting Tyson Fury
Joshua, in the meantime, criticized UK rival Fury - and refused a million-pound wager 'Tyson Fury' claims he will make on a Paul victory.
"Jake Paul is better than Tyson Fury - he's present here," the boxer commented.
"I respect him for that."
Serious Fighter
Despite saying he intends to punish Paul, Anthony Joshua refused to comment unfavorably about his rival's pugilistic talent.
"Jake Paul is a legitimate boxer," he said.
Jake Paul's Background
Paul - who first rose to fame on the television network - has mostly fought mixed martial artists or past-their-prime fighters since turning professional.
He lost to British fighter Fury in 2023.
Commercial Success
However, the novice remains one of the sport's largest commercial attractions, regularly earning substantial paydays.
Prediction and Belief
The 28-year-old predicted a KO victory in round four or five and stated he would stop the much-anticipated match between Joshua and Fury, which is allegedly under discussion for 2026.
"It will be myself against Tyson Fury next year," Jake Paul said.
Size Difference
As both boxers participated in the traditional confrontation, with their physical disparity clearly visible, it emphasized just how unlikely this entire matchup is - and how astonishing it is that the match is truly proceeding.
